Ministers Brison and Joly to make an announcement on official languages

Ottawa, November 16, 2016 – The President of the Treasury Board, the Honourable Scott Brison, and the Minister of Canadian Heritage, the Honourable Mélanie Joly, will make an announcement regarding official languages. They will be available to answer questions immediately following the announcement.

The announcement will be preceded by a technical briefing with officials from the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. Information provided at this briefing is for background information only, not for attribution, and to be held under embargo until the formal announcement is made by the ministers.
