Are you someone who enjoys taking analytical initiatives to support a large sales force and help management make important decisions. Our client, a major oil and gas company in downtown Calgary is seeking Administrative Assistant for one year contract. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze financial performance compared to plan
  • Summarize market intelligence reports and present to sales staff
  • Develop and maintain reporting for key initiatives 
  • Model and forecast future business results
  • Document processes and troubleshoot issues
  • Assist in preparing documents, graphs and status reports
  • Support long term investment plans through group collaboration 

Candidate Qualification

  • Over Five years of experience as a Business Analyst working with Downstream Refinery or Commercial Marketing of finished products(transportation fuels or asphalt)
  • Experience analyzing financial transactions and informing stakeholders of potential benefits and risks associated
  • Strong understanding of Economic modelling and Investment analysis
  • Ability to understand and help improve processes 
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • CFA or Accounting Designation will be preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP,Business Intelligence and Structured management systems will be nice to have 
  • Six Sigma Certification will be considered an asset
