Job Responsibilities

  • Support SAP/CATS time entry and scheduling as well as user training to employees required for input
  • Help the HR Analyst and HR Business Partner to respond to internal inquiries and assist in the development and interpretation of HR Time Entry policies and procedures
  • Perform payroll process audits and implement new audits as required
  • Assist HR Analyst in conducting hour balancing for individual employees or groups of employees
  • Create work schedules, calendars and other time and schedule communications for posting as required
  • Support the Human Resource Business Partner in updating and creating KPI’s
  • In conjunction with IT SAP systems support, participate in beta testing of new SAP system functionality including the development of new shift schedules

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum three to five years related experience in an industry based payroll role
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, proactive, and a high standard of quality in all tasks performed
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands including prioritizing and meeting deadlines
  • Expert level of proficiency in Excel is required along with superior computer skills in Microsoft Office and HR information systems
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation will be considered an asset
