Job Description:  Looking for part time with full time potential, permanent Administrative/Office Assistant, Three days a week, 8AM to 5PM. Your main responsibilities will be assisting and/or maintaining accounts payable/pulling invoices for cheque runs and aging reports, checking time sheets for invoicing and payroll purposes, generating purchase orders, creating/reviewing and matching PO’s to invoices, staff/management cash expense reports, data organization, running errands/making deposits, office organization, supplies inventory maintenance (shop/field)/ ordering office supplies, travel arrangements and any other duties as required to maintain the office and accounting department and assist the field staff in executing their jobs efficiently.  This position is a great opportunity to work closely with the accounting department and gain relevant experience in a hands on environment. To achieve this, you will be working closely with the controller along with other office/accounting administration, or operation/field staff as necessary. Your work will enable the company to continue to grow while maintaining a similar level of organization and professionalism.

 

Requirements and Qualifications: You will be a positive, friendly, motivated, organized self starter. Ideally have a technical accounting diploma or relevant business administration education; preferably with 1-2 years’ related experience, Proficiency in computer skills, working with Windows 7 and Microsoft Office products.  You will have demonstrated strong skills in time management, organization skills, leadership and communication and must have a valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
