Do you have great multitasking skills? Our client, a government agency located in NE Calgary, is seeking a professional Administrative Assistant for a 3 month contract. In this role you be acting as administrative support to the Director, Assessors, and the management team. This role is an urgent fill so please apply today!

Job Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the general manager of transportation – dutes are as follows:
  • Maintain/update the general manager’s calendar
  • Provide general administrative support to the manager and all direct reports
  • Handle mail, manage correspondences, and records management
  • Coordinate grievance hearing scheduling
  • Gather data and prepare council & committee reports (elms)
  • Corporate rewards & recognition
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes
  • Other administrative duties as required

Candidate Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience in administrative role supporting a busy group
  • Intermediate or higher MS Office skills is a must 
  • Experience in Peoplesoft and/or Livelink would be an asset
  • Organized and a strong multitasker
  • Good customer service skills, accommodating, and highly supportive
