Job Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and general office support to SSHE and Operations Support under the general direction of the SSHE Team Lead
  • Ensures compliance to all corporate policies, procedures and directives
  • Organize and schedule internal and external meetings, training sessions, and workshops
  • Prepare monthly expense report for SSHE Team Lead and Operations Support Manager
  • Prepare and distribute Contractor Safety Newsletter
  • Responsible for divisional and team event planning, off site leadership meetings, conferences, recognition lunches and or dinners
  • Ordering PPE and reward/recognition items nationally and distributing it to sites
  • Onboarding new personnel, including order processing for computer hardware, software and network requirements
  • Handles correspondence for SSHE and Operations Support teams
  • Invoice coding and tracking in SAP GUI
  • Sharepoint coordinator for SSHE and Ops Support
  • Other duties as assigned

Candidate Qualifications            

  • High school diploma (college diploma considered an asset)
  • Five or more years of related office experience
  • Administrative training
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong overall software knowledge including Excel, Word, Outlook and Sharepoint
  • Basic understanding of SAP is an asset
  • Quick learner who is able to self-study to learn and understand corporate policies and work processes
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to continuous improvement and learning as a way to improve efficiency in tasks
