Do you have excellent administration skills and enjoy supporting a team? Our client, a major oil and gas company is seeking Administrative Assistant for their Lloydminster, SK office for one year contract.

Job Responsibilities

  • Document new processes, edit and format content to comply with company standards
  • Support monthly safety meetings & ad hoc meetings
  • Organize and prepare all required meeting documents, format meeting presentations using MS PowerPoint, and book and set up meeting rooms
  • Create, maintain, and audit the well servicing SharePoint site 
  • Provide full coverage for the service rig logistics planner as required 
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for department staff including booking flights and hotels
  • Run engineering hopper daily to ensure team is aware of all wells which require servicing as well as complete wells down report weekly to update well servicing & production teams on how many wells require servicing
  • Maintain data and graphs showing current and historical data pertaining to well servicing and completions team
  • Complete KPI & High Spend job reports for team to have an understanding of previous month successes and areas to improve upon
  • Create, maintain and track monthly budgets for well servicing and sand management 
  • Responsible for on boarding all new hires ensuring safety compliance and required equipment is tracked and updated using HSE Tracker and SAP
  • Create contractor requests and Liaise with third party vendors for on-boarding well site supervisors
  • Ensure documentation regarding employment and safety is current and filed in appropriate location
  • Complete iRequests for software and equipment for new hires and current staff
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment, file or program issues and supply requests 

Candidate Qualification

  • Five to seven years of experience in administration
  • Intermediate level knowledge in MS Office with strong Excel capabilities
  • Experience using SAP and SharePoint 
  • Experience in financial/accounting capacity
  • Previous experience in Oil and Gas industry will be an asset
