Our client, a major oil and gas company located in downtown Edmonton is seeking a high performing, professional, and resourceful individual to join their team on 1 year contract basis. In this role you will be directly supporting the Director and interacting with high level executives. Job Responsibilities

  • Daily support to the extremely busy Director and his team
  • Extensive calendar management and scheduling crucial meetings
  • Preparing materials/itineraries, taking meeting minutes, and distributing actions items
  • Managing program and project schedules on MS Projects
  • Prepare project summaries/reports
  • Manage contract and partner invoice reconciliations, budgets, and statements of work
  • Departmental correspondents, communications, mail, and electronic file management
  • Other administrative tasks as required 

Candidate Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years as executive assistance and administrative/support in technology implementation and transformation programs
  • Post secondary education in a related field is a must
  • An excellent understanding of MS Project, Oracle Cloud, Visio, and Sharepoint
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • A high level of professionalism and confidentiality – must be comfortable dealing with senior level leaders
  • Resourceful and the ability to exercise good judgement at all times
  • A high capacity in terms of work, strong time management, highly organized, and shift in an ambiguous role
  • Excellent communication, liaison, and “gatekeeping” skills
